Also called “Holy Communion” or “The Lord’s Supper”. Following the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, we hear God’s word read and preached, we respond in song and psalm, we confess our sins and receive absolution, and we give glory to God as we approach his heavenly table to receive his aiding grace in the sacrament.
At Good Shepherd, the altar of the Eucharist is an “open table”. Anyone who has been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are welcome to partake of the sacrament at Good Shepherd.
